Composition

Each 100gramS  contains:

• Tylosin tartrate 100

Description

Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic effective against various Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including Campylobacter, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, and Treponema species.

Indications

For gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by tylosin-sensitive bacteria in calves, sheep, goats, swine, and poultry.

Contraindications

Do not use in animals hypersensitive to tylosin, with concurrent penicillin, cephalosporin, quinolone, or cycloserine treatment, or animals with active microbial digestion.

Side Effects

Diarrhea, stomach pain, and skin sensitization may occur.

Dosage and Administration (oral):

• Calves, sheep, goats: 5 g/220–250 kg body weight, twice daily for 5–7 days.
• Swine: 1 kg/3000–4000 L drinking water for 5–7 days.
• Poultry: 1 kg/1500–2000 L drinking water for 3–5 days.

*Note: Use only for pre-ruminant calves, lambs, and kids.*

Withdrawal Times (meat):

• Calves, sheep, goats, poultry: 5 days
• Swine: 3 days
